Sunmi P2
Determine where the Sunmi P2 will be installed by asking the Store Manager. Option 1 (primary) is to mount it on the back of the Monitor Base, which would face the customers. Only use this option if the payment terminal would be visible to the customer when mounted to the back. Option 2 is to place the payment terminal on the countertop next to the Monitor Base. This option is used when their desk has an upper level that would block the back of the Monitor Base from a customer’s view.
Option 1, mounted to the back of the Monitor Base:
Remove the charging cradle and Sunmi P2 from the box.
Plug in the RJ-45 cable and USB-C cable into the back of the charging cradle. Both cables are coming out of the mounting plate on the back of the Monitor Base.
Snap the charging cradle onto the mount on the back of the Monitor Base, then place the Sunmi P2 into the charging cradle.
Option 2, placed on the countertop:
Remove the charging cradle and Sunmi P2 from the box.
Remove the existing mounting plate from the back of the Monitor Base using a Philips screwdriver.
Replace the mounting plate with the white Flat Plate that came in the box and pull the existing RJ-45 and USB-C cables through the small hole (the small hole should be placed at the bottom).
Plug in the RJ-45 Extension cable and the USB-C Extension cable (both provided in the AiO box) to the short cables coming out of the flat plate.
Plug in the RJ-45 and USB-C extensions into the back of the charging cradle.
Place the Sunmi P2 into the charging cradle and leave the setup on the countertop next to the AiO.
Connect the Sunmi P2 to WiFi.
Press the power button on the left side of the Sunmi P2 to turn it on.
Press Settings, then select WiFi.
Select the store’s WiFi network, then enter the store’s WiFi password (if this was not provided in your work order’s custom fields, then you will need to ask the Store Manager for this information).
Once connected to WiFi, press the home button at the bottom of the screen (circle).
Return to the install instructions to continue with the setup.
